Attendance and shared terminal

See team attendance and compare it with the schedule.

Record entries, exits and breaks in the employee app or on a shared terminal. Review actual attendance before settling time.

Employee phone

Employees record the start and end of work and breaks. Attendance becomes part of shared time records.

Shared terminal

Use one device at the entrance to register attendance, including with NFC identifiers. Test device and tag compatibility during your pilot.

Planned and actual work

Managers compare attendance with published shifts, review overtime and resolve missing entries.

SCHEDULES & ATTENDANCE includes scheduling, attendance, overtime and leave. Tasks, projects, files and photos are in the main plans. See the pricing page for current rates and subscription terms.

TRY THE EXAMPLE

Walk through a shift with a break

Employee app example: 08:00–16:00 with a 12:00–12:30 break. In this configuration, the break is excluded from working time.

The data is fictional. This demo does not write anything to a company account.

GUIDE

Prepare a terminal and check the first clock-in

Before you start

You need an enabled terminal module and an administrator account. Prepare the device, employees and identifiers for the pilot.

  1. New Terminal: choose the mode

In the terminals area, choose “New Terminal”. Enter a name and choose “Shared KIOSK Terminal” or “Personal RCP Terminal”. Assign a personal terminal to one employee.

  2. Set project assignment

If the company uses projects, choose the terminal project and assignment rule. You can force the terminal project or use the employee’s default project according to the available settings.

  3. Activate the device

Save the terminal and complete activation. A personal terminal pairs the phone with the employee using a 9-digit code. Do not share that code with other people.

  4. Check identification and the record

On the prepared device, record clock-in and clock-out. For NFC, verify identifier assignment. Check the employee, terminal, time and project in the records; test breaks separately on your chosen device.

How to check it worked

The clock-in is saved for the correct employee and project, and the manager can find the entry.

First-run questions

Phone, kiosk or personal terminal?

The employee app uses the employee’s account. A kiosk is shared by the team, while a personal terminal is assigned to one person. Verify identification and available actions during activation.

Will every NFC tag work?

The tag must be compatible with the device and assigned to the correct purpose. Care, stock and attendance tags have different roles; test the actual scan during the pilot.
